History
Host.net was started by two South Florida computer and telecommunications specialists. The company grew from their modest two-person operation out of a garage, offering Internet access and integration services, to a debt-free, cash flow positive multinational company with over 50 employees and tens of millions of dollars in annual revenue.
The company's growth is the result of numerous efforts, including organic efforts, extensive partner and referral programs, and numerous acquisitions.
A history of the acquisitions follows:
2002: US Data Authority, a national network services company
2003: Dial ISDN & Tier Systems, Florida based ISPs
2004: GO International, a leading teleradiology focused network services provider
2007: WebUnited/Expedient Florida
2007: HTAC.net
2008: WV Fiber
2009: Fairway Consulting Group
Host.net's largest growth has come from referrals from its large base of satisfied customers.
